Sawtell Catholic Care – Toormina

Located on the NSW North Coast at Toormina, Sawtell Catholic Care is an aged care organisation that requested a play area for visiting children to enjoy.

CRS played an important role in this project, from the supply and installation of the state-of-the-art play equipment and synthetic soft-fall surfacing.

The playspace includes an impressive KliX NaturePlay fort that consists of a slide, climbing net and 5 meter long Burmese bridge. A KliX SwingPlay double-bay swing set fitted with a large Nest Seat, Strap Seat and Toddler Seat enables residents to actively play with their little guests.

This play space offers more than just a fun and inclusive space for children and their carers. It also promotes the use of Iron bark timber, sourced from a sustainable Australian plantation. Iron bark has a Class 1 durability rating, perfect for structural use, longevity and blending in with the natural surrounds.
